The staff at this location are outstanding - so friendly, engaging, helpful, and courteous. Irina and Monica were amazing and made us feel so welcomed. The room was very nice and the breakfast so plentiful and yummy - there was something for all tastes. We highly recommend this hotel in Los Colinas

This was a nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room was well appointed, but a little dated with popcorn ceiling and the bathroom sink with no door to separate it from being right in front of the bed. Breakfast was nice, but they charge for a cup of plain coffee! Couldn't believe it.

I stayed three nights at the Hyatt Place Dallas/Las Colinas and came away with mixed impressions. First, a clarification on location. Despite the name, the hotel isn’t actually in the heart of Las Colinas. It’s roughly two miles from Lake Carolyn and the Toyota Music Factory. That’s an easy drive, but if you’re expecting to walk out the door and be at the waterfront or concert venue, you won’t be. This is a highway-adjacent, business-park ​​location. This is an older-generation Hyatt Place that has seen some renovations over the years. The lobby feels a bit dated, though functional. ​The hallway leading to the guest rooms appears newer and fresher than the public spaces. My room, while dated, was mostly clean. I emphasize mostly ​clean because there was visible mold and mildew in the bathroom. The rest of the room was very clean, and housekeeping does a better-than-average job. The issue here isn’t the housekeeping staff; it’s ownership or management failing to properly maintain the physical product. That’s a maintenance oversight, not a cleaning failure. The room design reflects an ​early 2000s hotel room. There are no accessible USB outlets and very few conveniently located electrical outlets for charging devices — a ​s​ignificant drawback in 2026. If you’re traveling with multiple devices, bring a charging hub. Toiletries were​ wall-mounted shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers. A single bar of soap was provided on the vanity countertop. No lotion was ​p​rovided. Housekeeping is offered daily, which is appreciated. That said, staffing appears tight. Despite having a confirmed 9 a.m. check-in, my room wasn’t ready until nearly 4 p.m. On another day, service didn’t occur until after 2 p.m. The staff was polite, but operationally, the hotel seems stretched. Breakfast is included. Expect liquid or powdered scrambled eggs, bacon or ​pork sausage, pancakes, a ​p​lain yogurt, sugary cereals, and soupy oatmeal. It’s ​v​ery basic. Nothing changes day to day. In the evening, the bar offers a limited menu of burgers, sandwiches, and salads. The pesto turkey sandwich was surprisingly good — genuinely better than expected. Unfortunately, there’s no pantry stocked with snacks or grab-and-go salads and wraps, and there aren’t any stores ​nearby. Amenities are modest: free parking, a​n outdoor pool, and a small gym with older equipment. It’s functional, just not particularly modern​. The best part of the hotel is the staff. Every employee I encountered was polite, professional, and hospitable. All things considered, the hotel is mostly clean and rates are generally reasonable. But this area of Irving has no shortage of limited-service options. I would compare prices carefully. Absent a strong rate — or a need to earn or redeem Hyatt points — there’s little that distinguishes this property from the competition.

I love the location of the premises everytime found this stay for a good price for the night

Did not care for the ladies attitude in dealing with my concern, I understand the policy but she handled it very poorly. As I always choose a king bed, I feel like i was given this certain room due to the issue we was having. This room location provided the worst view and as being a repeat customer i know there are different views. Basically since I had voiced my opinion on a issue she chose and gave me the worst view. Oh well I will stay at location again however I hope I dont have to deal with her again. Yes I am comparing her to the last staff member I dealt with on a previous stay,whom he was very polite and welcoming.
