"Good and bad"

The girl who checked me in as I arrived was completely disinterested. I had to ask for directions to my room. She could use some customer service training. The room was clean but had an odor in it and the jets in the jacuzzi didn't work. I mentioned the odor to staff as I was leaving and they informed me that the room had just been reopened after being used as storage for a while so they would have maintenance look into it. But I had a nice quiet evening to myself and was able to work out in the morning and have a nice breakfast (until a family with four small boys and a baby in the stroller came in and took over the breakfast room. I really wish people nowadays would learn how to either control their children or just not subject other people to them. They also placed the stroller right where it blocked others from moving freely around the area.).

The second night the power went out for several hours. This hotel does not have a backup generator! No ac to keep cool, couldnt charge my phone, no elevators, etc! Not sure how this is even legal with hundreds of people staying there? Fast forward to breakfast. How did they keep all that food cold when the power was out!? I also did a late check out yet noone seemed aware and kept knocking on my door. I even got locked out of my room an hour before i had to check out. Maybe it was just a 1 off? Had this all not happened my review would have been much better.

Our first room when we checked in had a horrible odor and the chairs and floor were filthy. They were able to move to another room which did seem a bit cleaner . We had an urgent matter come up at home and needed to check out around 5:30 PM the desk rep was unable to assist in seeing if we could get a discounted rate as we needed to leave right away no Manager available. Expedia called (Expedia called while I was at the desk)and they refused to give an accommodate and provide a discount . Rooms are not worth the price . We have used country Inn’s for many years. I will definitely not stay here or recommend to anyone I know will be I. The area .

Breakfast was ok, Could have had more variety of hot food.

The hotel room was dated in all ways. Bed and pillows were not comfortable and bedding needs updating. Bathroom needed updating as well, room seemed dirty.
