Significantly higher rating would be deserved if they had better housekeeping. Grouting of shower painted with black mole that appeared to be totally ignored. Such tolerance for well known health hazard is incompatible with even a single star hotel.
All staff from reception, to concierge to housekeeping, were friendly, helpful and courteous making our stay memorable. Particularly Chris, who went the extra mile to help retrieve a very important item for his guest! Superb customer service!
I would like to commend Chris for outstanding service and dedication. After my friend mobile phone was left behind at Penang Airport, Chris took full ownership of the issue—coordinating with the airport, collecting the phone personally on a day off, and arranging its safe return to Singapore. This level of responsibility and commitment goes well beyond expectations and reflects excellent customer service. Thank you.
We had a pleasant stay at the hotel and was particularly impressed by their stellar service standards. When we arrived at the hotel and awaiting our keys, we were given a warm cookie to eat. This was very thoughtful, after a long road trip. Hotel manager, Chris, was always helpful, pleasant and thoughtful. This is the best service we received, compared to service standards at the other 2 hotels we stayed whilst in Malacca and Cameron Highlands. Also, coming out of the hotel in the evening, we were greeted by lots of local food fare. What a gastronomic experience. Will definitely recommend Sunway to my friends and associates.
