Best Western Corona Hotel & Suites

The Best Western Corona CA hotel is situated conveniently just off highway CA-91. It is easy to get on and off CA-91, whether heading further into Riverside or towards Orange County. The hotel is fairly large and two story with plenty of parking on all sides. The only downfall is the area is fairly desolate around the hotel (no stores or restaurants), aside from a gas station, and does appear a tad questionable for the neighbors nearby (such as a massage/tobacco place on one side and a defunct hotel-turned homeless/low income building on the other side, both of those being separated from the Best Western property by large enough paved areas and hedges). For the 5 days I stayed at the end of February 2026 with a car rental parked each night, I did not have, observe or hear of any issues outside. The Best Western Corona CA hotel is well kept and impressively clean for the age of the hotel. There is a sizable center courtyard and a pool/hot tub area. The room (231) I stayed in was large with a king bed near the bathroom area in the rear, a center island kitchenette (microwave, small fridge, coffee pot, bar sink), a gas fireplace and a large 60” TV (with cable), and a sleeper couch. The room and contents were above average for cleanliness (dusted and wiped down well) and had no discernible odor, dust or mold (none in the bathroom). The HVAC worked well to heat and cool the room and there were no musty smells when in use. The water pressure and hot water was good. The toilet flushed great and the sinks and tub/shower drained as quick as the water flowed which demonstrates that maintenance is being done. The bedding was clean and linen white and good non-fragrant. The bed was okay with the mattress firm but comfortable enough and no bed squeaking; though the pillows were a bit uncomfortable compressed too much because they did not have enough fill. The only real negatives I noted were the obvious carpet stains and how dirty my sandal soles got after walking in the carpet for the time I was in the room, the mineral buildup in the shower head and sink faucets, some of the room decor is getting a bit used and needing either to be freshened up or have some items replaced, and the noise from very loud vehicles on the road running parallel to the hotel rod could be heard at times. I had read multiple reviews about how good the Best Western Corona CA’s included daily breakfast was and I have to agree this was one of the best breakfast offerings I have had when staying at a Best Western. They provided a great variety of food options, all plentiful and tasty: hot food consisted of eggs, potatoes, bacon or sausage, batter made waffles; cold food consisted of fresh fruit (banana clementines), cereals, breads to toast or not, small pastries, yogurt; beverages of coffee, tea, juice, milk; condiments of salsa, syrup, whipping cream, dried cranberries, walnuts and butter. The food area and seating is spacious and laid out well with the staff attentive to putting out the food and maintaining cleanliness. But note they keep the front door locked, except by hotel card key during breakfast time…. All the hotel staff (those working the desk, providing the breakfast and doing housecleaning) were friendly, attentive and helpful when needed. During the 5 days I stayed at the hotel, there seemed to be more guests staying each day with the most people I encountered on Saturday. I would recommend the Best Western Corona CA hotel for a stay, especially during the time I was there (late February).

Clean, pool & jacuzzi, large suite, large bathtub, comfortable bed.

Somewhat outdated decor/furniture, too close to traffic/noise. TV does not pivot for viewing in sitting area or bedroom.

The room was clean, the pool was large and clean, the food was good and the staff was nice and friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Absolutely awful. Stayed there four nights and son couldn't use playstation for online gaming cause the internet was so awful. Disgusting bathroom with black mold on wall, fan barely hanging from ceiling, no staff to bring things to your room, horrible cell phone service all over the property, leaking refrigerator that got all over my clothes, no cleaning of our room when staying there four nights. Breakfast was the same every morning and was also pitiful.
