Manteo at Eldorado Resort

It is a nice location. The private beach, however, is quite tiny. They were some issues with the room cards, not working, although this is happened to me at other places, and the staff was quite responsive in fixing it.

AVOID GO TO Delta Instead !!!!!!! horrible in every way possible, rooms trash, food 4/10 , renting the boats A massive hassle.

Very peaceful stay

Came here August 2025, asked for a room prior to stay that isn’t facing the parking lot, they confirmed we would not. Then when we arrived double checked they said yup, you will not face the parking lot. Booked 3 months early so lots of time in advance. Got our room and facing parking lot. Called, they did not care. Came for our anniversary wanted a nice room/view. We mentioned this, they didn’t care and said, sorry that’s all we have. Missing things in our room. Asked for more chairs for tiny patio as we have two kids, they said no we don’t have anymore. Not accommodating at all, staff not willing to accommodate, room very small and basic. Bathroom so small, need ms a makeover. For the price you pay I would expect way more. Room small, outdated. Garbage in elevator all day not cleaned up, garbage by water stand in front of the front desk all over floor not cleaned up. Boardwalk closed entire stay, was looking forward to walking along that. Asked if we could use a microwave to heat up food for our kids, they said no. Booked skidoos we contacted them day before to confirm they were up and running, as they had broke earlier when we booked, they said should be good to go for tomorrow. Called us the next day, sorry still broken. No skidoo for us! Our last day! Really wanted to do this. Now do last min doubtful we will get anything. Came here to celebrate our 15 years and it was not what I hoped for. Would not recommend staying here.
