Manteo at Eldorado Resort

NICELY LOCATED BUT IN NEED OF MONDERNIZATION OLD TUB AND SHOWER COMBO. FAUCET WAS OLD AND LOOSE IN THE WASHROOM. DEFINITELY NEEDS A RENOVATION

Clean room, 2 Great reaturants with outdoor seating. Lots of Gluten free options. (Celiac)

A bit run down -limited food service

Very nice location on the water. Lots of activities. Loved the adults only pool option! Great restaurants and friendly staff.

Our room was overlooking the water and had a beautiful view, but at night was noisy due to the restaurant being below us.

Maybe changing the AC system

The room and staff were very nice. However, I booked and paid through Expedia but was charged an additional $30 per day "resort" fee that I was not told about until check-out. This is unacceptable business practice for both Manteo and Expedia. I booked and paid for my stay using Expedia and we agreed on a price

The hotel and the amenities it provided was overall spectacular. Definitely gave you a vibe of staying at a resort. You have your own private beach, docks, walking paths, pools, restaurants, etc! The food was spectacular and the staff where amazing! Rated 3 stars because there was spider webs with 100's of spider eggs on top of the curtain rail in our room (gross), a weird smell coming from the drain hole of the bathtub one evening that smelt like sewage. We had to put a towel at the bottom of the door so the smell wouldn't carry into the room. It persisted to the following day as well. I also woke up 3-6 times at night as our room was facing the parking lot and you could hear the music they where playing downstairs by the main door. They kept the music playing 24 hours a day. Super unfortunate as we did enjoy staying here, but felt I had to be honest with my review.
