Grand Hotel & Conference Centre Calgary Airport, an Ascend Collection Hotel

Very modern hotel. Rooms were very clean. The young lady on the front desk, Jasleen Kaur, greeted me with a big smile and made me feel very welcome and important. She was very efficient at checking me in and made sure all my needs were met. I had been travelling and staying at hotels for over 2 weeks, prior to staying at this hotel, and I can honestly say that Ms. Jasleen Kaur provided me with one of the smoothest hotel check in that I had ever experiance over the previous 2 weeks of travel. The breakfast provided by this hotel was one of the best I have had while staying in a hotel. A great selection of breakfast food was provided with a high degree of quality. The staff at breakfast were very efficient and made sure there was plently of food on hand. This hotel knows how to treat their guests with class. Excellent service!!!!

It was really great that the breakfast was included. It is actually was a great price, the hotel is little old but is clean and the rooms are very spacious and fancy, looks like it was a very good hotel back on the days. Really recommended 😊

Stayed 3 nights --- great snooze! Very clean, everything worked properly, all in good condition. Room furnishing was simple but comfy. Lighting is one of the best I've come across in a hotel room of this type --- sufficient, not glaring in my face. Wifi was strong and connected throughout the property on one channel. Room price was very good! Hot breakfast was very good, parking was plentiful.

Not so great location for food without a car, and could be a problem when a conference is running and you're not part of it (large hotel, great for conferences! but might be rushed when the place is packed) but no conference whilst we were there, so everything went very smoothly
