Great spot for getting around the island. Nice clean, comfortable room with a great view of the ocean.

Unfortunately, the homeless have set up a beachside shanty town that goes unchecked. Literally just feet away from the resort property.

Proximity to the beach

The rooms were absolutely filthy. The walls were scuffed up, the floors were dirty, the furniture was old and chipped. Switches didn't work, tv didn't turn on. Our rooms were situated near the garbage cans and could smell the stench of cat urine in our rooms. There are transients camped on the beach and it felt extremely unsafe to go out in the evenings. This was the worst place we've ever stayed and not at all worth what we were charged. Disappointing for sure.

The staff was nice and the hotel directly by the ocean

The facility was outdated which wasn't the problem, but there was a smell of mildew that hit you right when you walk in.... we discovered mold on the curtains, the ceiling fan was covered in dust and gunk, there was a hole in the side of the bathtub, the TV modem was covered with a sticky yellow substance and the AC was black inside and dripped some yellow-ish brown liquid directly above one of the beds... The beds were so dusty, worn and squeaky, we would've never been able to get any sleep There is also a homeless camp right outside by the ocean... while we checked in, one of the guys from there came to the door, we felt like he was listening to which room we are going to be in, which made us feel extremely uncomfortable. The lady that checked us in told us, she would upgrade us to the ocean view room free of charge, but when we saw the room ( on the first floor) we were wondering what a downgrade would look like... We called around and ended up getting a nice room in a safe location at another hotel and paid less than here! Unfortunately, we ran out so fast I forgot to take pictures!
