The linen on the bed was too dirty. There is no reception . And toilets are dirty too. The rooms smell horrible. Bedsheets were way too dirty. Even if you are booking the queen sized ocean view rooms, please donot. As they are very small and no space at all. The floor was sticky.

Much more spacious rooms than photographed! Beautiful property, so lovely. The highland cows!!

Easy to find and closed from downtown.

Very noisy place with the road closed by the motel and the neighbors of the other rooms who talked late at night and very early in the morning. Not a lot of privacy. It could be nice to see someone at the reception. The room was cold when we arrived.

Shared facilities were good— comfy lounges and chairs in the sunroom, with a beautiful view, whilst having a cuppa. Heaters in the rooms were necessary, and I was glad they were present.

Staying at Seacroft Estate would have been more enjoyable if the fireplace had been on. While it’s mentioned that firewood needs to be purchased, it was quite inconvenient to read the instructions on how and where to do so, especially after a long, tiring day of exploring and arriving at sunset. We wanted to unwind, get warm and rest. It had been cold with strong gale-force winds coming in. Having the fireplace lit as a complimentary service by staff would have greatly enhanced our stay and that of other patrons. Considering the price for two rooms to accommodate a family of 5, I don’t think having a lit fire would’ve been unreasonable upkeep.
