Vila Gale Porto Centro Hotel

The hotel did not have much around it. The facility itself was of a good quality and breakfast buffet was good. I did not like being charged for parking or the use of the safe, and both these items should be clearly disclosed prior to booking

Good location, walkable, parking available, easy to find.

Tower block hotel with 19 floors. 15 minute walk to main shopping street Via Santa Catarina. Taxi rank at adjacent underground Bus Station. Spacious room in good order. Over-bath shower. In room tea making facilities on request. Food poor.

Nice hotel and close to city center BUT horrible elevator system . Standard waiting time is 10-15 minutes

The hotel was central to the sites we wanted to see in Porto and easy access from the train station. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Nice hotel closed to the center. Great service, courteous personnel and clean rooms. Great pool; fitness center is decent with a great view of the city. About 10-15 min walking distance from the old town. Highly recommended

Vile Galé is in a good location. You're never more than a 20 minute walk away from anything you need, whether it be Rio Duoro or city centre shopping. The employees work very hard, and it showa.

Within 15 min walk of city center. Many small restaurants and cafes, pastry shops along that walk. Hotel is located next to major bus line ( like greyhound station) but area around it is a bit rundown. Hotel is ok but has no AC in lobby. Rooms are ok with AC, but dated. It worked for us. It was around 75 F in July and we had a good time in Porto. Good budget hotel. My wife was Ok with it and she is picky....
