The hotel needs work as it is getting run down. Looks like staff make efforts to clean but carpets and finishes are old. Room smelled of smoke unfortunately. Staff was pleasant.

I likeed the pancake machine, it was Kool even though I am a waffle person. Was a little disappointed that it said a pool was there but wasn't. The exercise room was great.

"Good location, nice hotel, tiny room"

Nice hotel conveniently located right off route 85 and surrounded by shops and restaurants. Downtown Greenville is about a 20 minute drive. Traffic in the area is very heavy except for early morning Saturday and Sunday. The hotel is set back a little from Woodruff Rd so the traffic noise isn't an issue. (The idiots blasting their car radios in the parking lot of the restaurant next door were a different issue.) The building was clean and the staff very friendly. The breakfast was good for a budget hotel and included small omelettes. My room included both a fridge and a microwave. Coffee maker uses its own special nasty coffee packets (not Keurig) so you can't make your own, and the coffee in the lobby tasted burned. The bathroom was clean and in good shape. My only real gripe is that the standard queen rooms, at least, are tiny. (I'm 5'5" and 115 lbs.) The bed takes up most of the space and aside from the small "bench" under the window there is no place to store large luggage or spread out clothes. Even the closet was useless as there was a full sized ironing board stored in it. Two adults would be a squeeze and there's no way a crib would fit. Just be aware of that and consider booking a suite or double queen.

Very nice hotel *** Absolutely clean and comfortable , very well maintained. Highly recommended!!! One thing I would like to mention unfortunately no refrigerator in my standard room.
