Scandic Stuttgart Europaviertel (Neueröffnung/Reopening)

Great hotel, not far from the station. Good breakfast

We liked that this hotel is within a short walking distance away from the busy main shopping and business area. The associate who checked us made us feel very welcome. One morning she realized that we wanted just a cup of coffee and no food so she went up to the restaurant and brought us two cups of coffee. We would stay here again.

Convenient for city centre and shops. Room comfortable. Food poor.

This is our first time at a Mercure, so we didn't know what to expect based on past reviews. But we were pleasantly surprised that this hotel must have gone through some interior renovations. The condition was great. The bathroom was of sufficient size with a good shower. The carpeting in both the hallway and room were in good condition. There was an entry closet and another closet on the other end of the room. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor is inviting and comfortable with good service. It's a bit pricey and the food was "good" but not "great". But there's not much quickly walkable other than the food court in the mall down the street. So if you don't have time to walk about 1km or jump on the subway which is about 3 blocks away, the hotel restaurant is a good option. The front desk personnel are cheerful and helpful. We stayed here for 6 nights on vacation using Stuttgart as a base for some day trips around the area. The Stadtbibliotek subway stop has 4 lines that go to varying places north, and are all one stop south to the main train station. And the hotel was a much better value than anything closer to the main station. Porsche and Mercedes are in Stuttgart, and the rooms and halls have Porsche and Mercedes themed photos throughout. Housekeeping did a great job and were flexible when we slept in, or had special requests. We'd stay here again.

The morning staff on 12/11/2018 were friendly ans nice. It was near metro station, 30 minutes on the train to the airport. The breakfast was expensive €19 for one nigjt.

Well situated in the city centre and Mercedes Museum.

Very new, everything was a you would expect. Extremely helpful staff. Room was slightly tight for 2 with big suitcases, but workable. Convenient to our sights and transit.

Excellent hotel with pleasant and helpful staff, clean and well appointed rooms. Only downside was breakfast was good but very expensive.

Its a nice hotel, reception staff are lovely, rooms cleaned daily. Close to the main town centre a few minute walk from the nearest rail station and a 2 minute ride on the rail to the main station where there is a choice of transport from buses, teams, trains and taxis.
