Scandic Stuttgart Europaviertel (Neueröffnung/Reopening)

Had a lovely stay in this hotel which was conveniently situated near train stations so you could get about. Rooms were clean and comfortable and all the staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. Did not eat here but used the bar in the evening which was welcoming and had a lovely atmosphere.

We stayed at the Mercure for a weekend trip to Stuttgart for the Christmas market and a visit to the excellent Mercedes Museum. The hotel is a short 10 minute walk from the main HauptBahnHof train station. The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The staff are excellent and welcoming and eager to help. The drinks are reasonably priced and the restaurant is of a decent standard, but the menu is rather limited and not many vegetarian options. The rooms are good and the beds very comfortable. The showers are amazing! All in all a great experience for us and we will definitely revisit next year,

What more do you want. Close to town, good connections with the U Bahn, lovely rooms, staff were great and very friendly. Great hotel bar. Good sound insulation although it wasn’t noisy. Breakfast was a bit pricey but good choice. We loved it!

Nice and central hotel, clean rooms and comfortable!

There was a conference at this hotel but there were no where near as many staff working there to handle the volume of customers. This create long lines at the reception. The rooms were very small. Coffee packets from the room were not replenished the next morning. When I asked the hallway mail service for coffee and sugar, I was told to go downstairs and get it myself.

Very nice lodging and food service. Staff was very helpful and courteous. Location was very convenient. Only complaints by was the AC was not very cool; but the window could open which made it comfortable.

The hotel is located clise to subway and within walkj g dostance of citycenter. If you are driving a car, it is very convenient to have gas station right beside the hotel. The rooms are small but have mist everything you need, albeit in very tight quarters. Couple of points that can be easy fixed by hotel to make the stay more enjoyable: -fix the call the attendant button on parking garage machine. My prepaid ticket was not working when I was leaving, & button would not work as well. The curb from garage to the ticket machine at the garage exit is very steep, which makes it extremely challenging to back up without hitting curb or possibly cars behind you. Therefore, i had to leave the car at thr yocket booth blocking the only way out & run upstairs to frint desk to get a new ticket. -i have stayed at several Mercure hotels now & noticed that sheets are very poor quality. Since the air doesn't go thst low & in some hotels it is not pissible to open the window to get fresh cold air, you rnd up uncomfortable snd sweaty. I ghink thd sheets are just low cheap quality. They should be upgraded. -when I came into thd room, it was dark & none of the lamos were plugfed in. It was interesting trying to find cords & plugs in the dark. This should be done before guest arrives Noteworthy complements: -excellent breakfast, I would however recommend starting earlier than 7 on week-end -guest can borrow umbrellas at front desk -discount of few euros if you prepay for parking

We had a 2 night break in Stuttgart and stayed at the Mercure. The hotel was located very centrally and was everything we needed!

Good hotel with typical European style and size. Everything was good. Nice restaurant in the hotel with good food and very nice staff. Outstanding breakfast which was included in our rate. 18 minute walk to hotel but all up hill in a very confusing construction zone. Took a cab for €10. Walked downhill the next morning to the train. Nice shopping centre located next door.
