This is an excellent property. I rated it 5* even though, for me, being south Mumbai would have been better for tours etc. that is not the hotels fault. It is a wonderful hotel - gym, pool, food options and staff fantastic.

Sadly, The Sahara Star is no longer as good as it used to be. We were put in room 4017 where the toilet was stinking. When we tried to call the reception to inform them of the same, we found that the phone was not in working condition. Overall the staff were unhelpful and genuinely not interested in making our stay pleasant.

The fact there is only one elevator makes it hard to go back and forth to your room. To much hallway walking. Not enough towels in the room. No mini bar service

This hotel was so dirty rooms looked like they had not been touched for weeks. Staff was nice but our rooms were awful. So disappointed.

Enjoyed our stay! Great property with nice amenities and location. Only thing I had an issue with was the inconsiderate adjacent room occupant who was speaking loudly over phone in the patio for over 2 hours past midnight. It just disturbed our sleep.
