Occidental Nuevo Vallarta - All Inclusive

We had a good time at the Occidental NV. We had dietary restrictions but chefs Saul and Alexander went above and beyond and made us delicious vegetarian meals without eggs. Our group of family and friends really enjoyed the meals and the drinks. Also the service by Carlos at Le Buffet was exceptional. The staff was knowledgeable and courteous. The only problem we had was to get reservations for dinner at their restaurants. They were booked until the last night of our stay. So we had to eat at Le Buffet every night except the last night of our stay. I would recommend to allow all their guests to have a chance to book dinner reservations on a daily basis.

Misa poolside bartender is the best server. Food was good. Beds were two doubles which wasn’t ideal as we wanted a king. Even Queen would have been ok

Royal service- 4/5 Pros: easy check-in on 7th floor; all dinners can be pre booked; variety breakfasts; room was comfortable (bed large/super clean); section on beach and pool w service; shows are good!! Try to be accommodating w food allergies; resort is very clean! Cons- not all rooms have balcony(personal preference); people with non royal service frequently take the Bali beds/ loungers and it’s not checked that you have royal service (or no one says anything); smell near the large/kids pool; food allergies- helpful to be labelled every time in buffets/menus (sometimes it is and sometimes not) Overall - worth it but it can be improved! Shout out to Ricardo in Mexican restaurant and Alejandro in dropoff area- they go the extra mile and we appreciated it!

It was a very great environment and family friendly. We came with our 10 month old and everyone was very accommodating. Erick Cerna is one of the bartenders in the lounge he was very nice always remembered our names whenever we saw him! Very clean too they cleaned our rooms and asked us to hat snacks we liked and wanted more of. Overall a very great place to stay. (It is right across from a mall with some shopping and restaurants). Only downside is you can hear everything going on in the hallways from inside your room.

It was a great expirience, room was cleaned everyday and the food and drinks are great, we had the best expierence at the tokyo restaurant and Ismael and Jose Silva gave us the best treatment

The Occidental Nuevo Vallarta is a comfortable, enjoyable resort well worth the visit. The staff is superb, the resort and rooms are clean, and the food is above average. An upgrade to the Royal Level is well worth the additional expense.

We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary with 22 family members and friends. There was something for everyone ages 15-74! Gabriela was exceptional in the planning of our celebration at The Mariachi Grill. The staff took exceptional care of our every need. They we’re terrific in every way. Feels like home. Great time relaxing, seeing friends, and making new ones. Staff are wonderful and always helpful. We always enjoy our stay.

My wife and I had a blast at this resort on the beach. It’s older yes, but well-maintained. Food was great. Beach is beautiful and you can walk and walk for miles. Pacific coast beach, so it looks like California beaches, but MUCH warmer. There’s a mall and supermarket across the street. Easy to catch a ride to Bucerias (tiny town) to the north, or to Puerto Vallarta to the south. There’s also a great walking/bike riding/jogging path that runs for several miles along the street.

Overall Excellent service at Occidental Nuevo Vallarta. Good communication at this hotel with all the staff.
