Great location, friendly staff, on-site restaurant was delicious with gorgeous views

Rooms could use updating. Paid for a balcony room and was placed on the 1st floor. For myself, a plastic chair outside a walkway that all rooms on that floor use is not the same as a private balcony. Not having a noncarpeted spot to place wet boats /coats by the door is weird not to have in a ski area

This place is an absolute scam. Our stay was beyond disappointing and honestly unacceptable. The shower was dirty, which immediately made us question the cleanliness of the entire room. There were no proper amenities provided — not even the basic items you expect when staying at a hotel. For the price charged, this is ridiculous. The smell throughout the area was terrible, especially the strong food odor that lingered and made the experience even worse. On top of that, the noise level was extremely loud. We could hear everything, making it impossible to relax or get proper rest. To make things worse, the rooms are far from the pool — and you actually have to cross the highway to get to it. That feels unsafe and completely inconvenient, especially for families with children. This information was not clearly presented when booking. Overall, this place is misleading and not worth the money. I would absolutely not recommend staying here. Save yourself the frustration and book somewhere else.

Indian Head Resort, Lincoln, NH: I wanted to express our great disappointment in our stay as follows: We were given a room way in the back on the bottom floor. In order to get to the pool, fitness or anything, we had to climb these really steep stairs. We also had to climb up and down stairs to get to the pool/arcade/fitness room. I had explained on the phone when I made the reservation a couple months back that I had physical/medical problems and stairs were going to be an issue. We saw that there were other rooms in the front of the Inn with much less stairs. When we walked into our room, it smelled very musty. The fan in the bathroom never worked correctly. The bathroom would steam up every time we took a shower. The hot water would come out so hot where we almost burned ourselves. The TV was flickering on every channel we watched. We did bring these concerns to the desk and they sent over a maintenance person to fix the fan in the bathroom. They replaced the TV with a newer one. However, the TV still flickered on every channel we watched and the fan in the bathroom still did not work correctly. The hot water continued to come out so hot. We asked at the desk why there were no showers to rinse off after getting out of a chlorine pool. They said, "you have showers in your rooms." What kind of an answer is that? We had to put our clothes back on over chlorine bodies and then get undressed again to take a shower in our room. We have never been in a hotel ever where there wasn't a shower to rinse off after getting out of a pool. Or at least have the pool connected to the rooms where one could walk down a hallway with a cover up to get to their room to rinse off. None of this was ever explained to me when I booked this room or even on your website. The pictures on their website are very deceiving to say the least. They make it look like the resort is beautiful. When in fact, this place is very old and in need of dire repair. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I emailed Heidi and she has gone back and forth with me. I would like to speak with the owner/manager, Peter Spanos and have requested that information. Currently waiting on contact information.
