The only thing we would suggest is that the balconies have a lot of hornet nest being built, and it made it uncomfortable to sit out there. They were actually building a nest directly under the end table on the patio in our unit 215. We swatted it away, but they were active in other areas on both side sides of the patio.

The Salish Lodge is impeccably maintained and is really beautiful with friendly staff who is willing to assist in any way - kudos for their professional workers ! "The Restaurant " food quality was excellent. Properly cooked and seasoned and presented beautifully. The minus was that the service was slow (40 minutes to get our soups) and despite dining indoors, we had to contend with flies. We had high expectations for the spa. What surprised us was that the staff advises that we had to shower and change into our robes in our room before arriving at the spa for our massage appointments. There are no saunas, steam rooms or jacuzzi tubs to enjoy before or after our spa treatments. Should you want to relax in a jacuzzi, you have to reserve a time and it pay an additional $75. Our treatments were excellent, but thought that the caffeinated treated in the lounge were a bit of an odd offering at a spa. Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Salish Lodge and will recommend experiencing it to others. There were just a few things here and there that could have been a bit better. The scenery is spectacular.

Great people amazing location

Breathtaking views from both inside the room and on the viewing deck of the restaurant and nearby trail. Wonderful staff and lovely, well maintained grounds. Highly recommend this location. I will definitely be back, this was a great getaway to just detox and unwind with some wine and a book.

I wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank the Salish Team for providing my husband and me with an absolutely unforgettable experience during our recent stay. We celebrated our second wedding anniversary at the lodge, and what we received was far beyond what we could have imagined. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Piper at the front desk greeted us with a smile, congratulated us on our anniversary, and surprised us with an upgrade to a beautiful King Patio Room. She even arranged for our room to be ready well before the standard check-in time so we could enjoy it after our morning spa services. She also gave us wonderful recommendations for lunch and a scenic walk around Snoqualmie Falls. Her kindness and attention to detail truly set the tone for the rest of our stay. At the spa, we were welcomed by the lovely Julia, who made sure we felt comfortable and cared for from the start. Our time there was nothing short of heavenly—from the tranquil waterfall pool to the luxurious couples fireside massage and personalized facials. A special thank you to Jimmy and Haley for their skill and professionalism; this was my husband’s first spa experience, and it was beyond anything he could have imagined. When we returned from the spa, we were delighted to find our room ready at noon, complete with rose petals and a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine. The room itself was stunning—cozy fireplace, plush robes and slippers, a gorgeous tub and shower, and even a private patio with a firepit. That evening, we enjoyed a truly exquisite dinner at The Terrace restaurant. Every detail of our meal, from the perfectly cooked steak and salmon to the impeccable service, made for a perfect ending to a perfect day. Our anniversary getaway exceeded every expectation, and we are already planning to return each year to recreate this magical experience. Thank you to every member of the Salish team who played a part in making our stay so memorable. You have created something truly special.

Our stay was an excellent experience from start to finish. This hotel fully deserves its reputation as one of the best in the Western U.S. The service was outstanding, the rooms were spotless and beautifully designed, and the overall atmosphere was both luxurious and peaceful. The views of the waterfall are breathtaking. While you can't see it directly from the room patio (but you can hear it thou), it's just a short 5-minute walk away - and absolutely worth it.

We dined at the restaurant during our stay. The overall experience was good — the food was tasty and the setting is beautiful. However, the service didn’t quite match the high standards of the hotel. It was a bit slow at times and felt less refined in comparison to the exceptional service we received elsewhere in the lodge. It’s still a solid option if you’re staying at the hotel or visiting the area, but set your expectations slightly lower than the level of the hotel itself.
