Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sunbury - Columbus North

No elevator... Morning coffee was old & baked... Expedia checkout time was 12 pm but they would not honor... Only two towels given for entire stay... Staff was friendly...

The room had mold on the ceiling and the carpet was filthy. The outside area by the lake was trashy. The employees were nice and helpful

Was not clean falling apart the locks are not good and safe the food very bad.

Room was clean.

Front doors were not clean. Breakfast was not good. Didn't eat there. There was a young person at the desk and did not see another adult the entire time.

Pool and guest laundry were out of service. Entry to room smelled like damp cigarette smoke, the bathroom floor had water accumulating from the tub and condensation dripping from the exhaust vent, and the room ceiling looked like there were mold issues.

It was close to fast food and gas stations which was convenient. The property landscape was overgrown.

Damp and moldy

I had to ask for additional towels the first night and they knew there were four people staying in the room in double queen size beds, and I was told they didn’t have any extra towels. They would have to wait until the laundry was done and then when they finally brought the additional towels, it was only half of what I had asked for. I had to ask them why my room was not clean with the trash dumped when we went out that first day and I was told they only serviced the room every four days. We also had to change rooms because there was a mouse in our room. the carpeting was filthy. We had to put towels down, so our feet did not get dirty when we got out of the shower. This was my first and last stay at Microtel by Wyndham. I believe that I should be entitled to a refund for such a bad experience , and my granddaughters were both very upset. When I asked about the trash, the night manager that night asked would I like a liner so I took the liner for the trashcan and brought my trash down to their laundry room to dispose of it. He was quite surprised when I requested that the room be changed due to a mouse in our room. He asked oh should I bring down mouse traps. I would not recommend this hotel to anybody Once again, I believe I am titled to some type of refund for the inconvenience and horrible experience I encountered during my stay.
