Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Sunbury - Columbus North

The breakfast was terrible. The bed was okay. Room was kind of clean but the lobby and entrance were terrible.

I had to ask for soap and got a tiny little bar. Nobody touched the room and I was there five days. The AC didn't work properly and the lighting is terrible. The bathroom light was only half working and I asked for it to be fixed but never happened

Breakfast was not that good. The French toast was a very thin. Only had beagles with sesame seeds on it. No induvial milk cartons most places have a little carton of milk. No fruit. I would have been better off getting breakfast at Bob Evans or McDonalds. I understand the hotel was to keep the cost minimal, but the breakfast is a joke. Most hotel will over eggs, sausage or bacon, waffles and fruits and yogurt. The muffin was a joke.

Staff was kind and courteous and very clean

Easy location

The staff that check in was not understanding at all. My daughter was just released from the hospital with six broken bones in her foot and ankle. We were out of town and trying to travel back home and needed somewhere to stay for the night. I booked the room at 11 PM and got to the hotel around 1:30 AM. When I checked in, I was told that we were going to be on the second floor, and there was no elevator. This is impossible for somebody who legitimately just left the hospital and could not even hardly get in and out of the car. I explain the situation the front desk worker said that it would need to be canceled by 4 PM which obviously couldn’t happen seeing how I didn’t book the hotel until 11 PM. I could not cancel the reservation on booking.com because he had already showed me checked in. We did not stay here, we kept traveling to find another hotel that could accommodate with an elevator or first floor . I still have not received any refund from anyone regarding this.

The coffee pot was broke and had to push several times to get coffee. The pool was closed for maintenance

The security latch on the door did not line up and therefore didn't work.

Peeling bathtub, absolutely awful breakfast.

I was the only one there and the staff was super nice.
