I the past they have promised certain rooms and I did not get it

The room was clean and latge.

The hotel looks and feels like it is still the 1950s

We have been coming to Hirams for over 30 years. Alot has changed and been added. We still enjoy the Sandbar with music, Blackfins, and the river. We especially love Susie, who has been there for many years originally as part of the dock crew. She always kept things in order, knew what was going on, and has a great sense of customer service. She is now in the Boatique and continues to offer great service, but the dock is not as organized as it was when she was in the office taking care of us when we docked our boat there. We miss her being a part of the crew, especially since there is no longer a dockmaster. The boatique is hot as interesting as it used to be, but we understand a new retail manager is bringing it around.

We were married on the beach with our celebration afterwards. We were in a river front room with a beautiful view.

Hotel very quiet and clean.

Need more comfortable chairs in room.
