Clarion Hotel & Suites Fairbanks near Ft Wainwright

Very spacious room. Could use some updates but there wasn't anything out of order. Great breakfast the first morning. Second day was just satisfactory but again, no complaints. I probably would have called it good but the first mornings biscuits and gravy made everything else lack luster. Staff kept things well stocked.

Housekeeping services were greatly lacking. The every three day housekeeping service was minimal. Beds were not made. Could have been better for sure.

Hotel was dated. Elevators were shaky. Room was inconvenient with toilet and sink in the same crowded space.

First night of stay tv didn’t work properly they said it was Dish’s fault. At 3 in the morning a fight was going on in the room below us for an hour,the hotel said they had to escort the guests out. Went to take a shower and not enough hot water for two showers. We had another night but we were in a different room and the TV still didn’t work and the staff acted as if it was going to be a problem for awhile. Also we were told they had an airport shuttle but whe we arrived we were told they didn’t have enough personnel to run it. Very disappointed las we like using Choice Hotels

The stay was great. The only problem was that the restaurant was not open. No continual breakfast available.

The hotel is nice overall. It's old, but pretty well maintained. My room and bed were comfortable. The only issue is that I was finding somebody's hair all over the place in my room. It's not a big deal for me, but still somewhat unpleasant. So the property needs to do a better job on cleaning.
