Booked non-smoking and was given a badly smoked in room, no trash cans in room, no coffee pot, but had coffee!! I even contacted the front desk and they just ignored me

They were in the middle of a renovation so I don’t want to be too critical. But a lot of the renovations seemed like basic repairs. The sheets felt dirty, and half of the outlets in the room didn’t work. I can’t be 100% sure, but there may have been a homeless guy living in a tent by the pool.

The staff Wednesday went out of her way to make us feel safe

Homeless people hanging out, construction not notified about, offers starting at 646am. Beating on roof. Mold on bathroom baseboard in room 115. Nasty black floor turned socks black. Staff can into room when asked not to go in. No housekeeping was needed. Someone went through my suitcase. I will never stay there again again I want a refund oh parking was covered in roofing nail. I stepped on 2 went in my show

The beds were comfortable, the staff was very nice, very apologetic, and very accommodating. The air conditioning was great, and the fridge and microwave were very clean.

Construction on the roof at 6:45am despite signage stating mild construction would begin at 8am, debris falling from the roof into walkways like nails and large metal pieces in addition to the neverending shingles falling like rain while the 20-person roofing crew scraoed and hammered and used leaf blowers to rain down aforementioned materials that blew right into railings and windows, no real coffee, only decaf, the pool was not open and looked gross, hourly rate customers coming and going from "closed" parts of the hotel, bathroom counters gooey and sticky, baby roaches running through the bathroom, one tiny trash can, no ice bucket, and the tiny in-room coffee maker had no cups....so I went to the lobby to obtain cups, but the coffee pouches in the room tasted like garbage.

There was a used dirty towel hanging on the back door of the bathroom. The one other towel was folded but used and dirty.

Didn’t partake. Grabbed a cup of coffee.

The air conditioning wasn’t on at all! It’s flipping summer, the room was like a hot box. We turned air on and immediately went to dinner. Picked up fan from front desk, when we got back, which helped. The floor throughout the room & bath were very dirty. We used a towel to wipe up some water we dripped over a 3 ft area. Towel was literally black. I used a disposable cloth to clean off the bottom of my feet before I got into bed, because they were black. Front desk clerk was very nice & professional.
