Iberostar Waves Dominicana - All Inclusive

The restaurants are rarely open and when they are they do not have the food on the menu. The rooms are outdated and falling apart. The sales people are the worst. During the day on the beach there are abput 20 people walking around trying to sell you stuff.

Entering into the property is very secure. The areas leading up to the properties were well manicured. The plam trees were beautiful. Hotel was in great condition entering common areas. The staff was courteous. Enjoyed the casino. The drinks were good. Frozen drinks were refreshing. Tequila was decent and rum. Strong offerings avaliable, like Patron, Jose Ce,

Staff were friendly, but food not as good as expected, staff did not speak any English, rooms smelled bad and filthy

My recent stay at Iberostar was wonderful. I was celebrating my 40th birthday and originally booked Iberostar Waves Dominicana. When I checked in we were upgraded to Iberostar Waves Punta Cana. Both resorts are next to each other. All the staff I encountered were pleasant and friendly. We received great service at all the restaurants especially at their buffet, Higuey. The hotel grounds are beautiful, each day there are activities and entertainment shows at night. I would highly recommend either resort. From beginning to end it was a memorable and great trip.

I really enjoyed this resort. The staff was very friendly. The club had great music. The grounds were immaculate. The french restaurant was outstanding as well as the breakfast buffet. Had allot of issues with the key card to the room. The beach has ALLOT of seaweed. I didn't go into the ocean once. Overall I would still return.
