The Berkeley Square Hotel Bristol

We had a good stay in the hotel. It’s in a great location in the centre of the city and benefits from a small and reasonably priced secure car park. Our superior room looked out over the square, was nicely furnished, had a chic bathroom, rain shower, decent linens, medium sized bed. Very nice touches included proper coffee and tea, fruit, fresh milk and a small serving of sherry. The breakfast buffet in the morning was good with a full selection of breakfast items. The front desk were helpful in answering every query. The only gripes were that the age of the hotel and its sash windows made for quite a noisy experience and that the bar shut way too early. We got back at 9.30 and nothing was available, which was a bit disappointing. Overall, a good alternative to the chains.

Es war relativ lange sehr laut da eine Hochzeit stattfand und viele betrunkene Gäste im Hotel unterwegs waren. Leider keine Info darüber vorab.

The friendlies of the staff. The way they gave us a ground floor room when I explained I'd recently had surgery and would be on crutches and in a wheelchair. Would definitely return if we were staying in Bristol. The sherry in the room was a very nice touch.

It was really nice hotel - close to wedding venue - we are attending Close to everything we wanted.

Cold weekend in may - no heating in the evening - towel rail off - when reported to reception , told it would be on after 9 because of seasonal timings.Never happened. Really noisy lift when reaching our floor when doors opening - unfortunately we were in one of the rooms really close to it.

Really nice room, super comfy bedding, window was open for breeze, good refreshments, really nice lounge downstairs, bathroom was great for bathing and showering. It was such a nice stay and plenty of parking too.

The staff were okay, not 10/10 service but just okay.

A great stay in a hotel with real independent spirit. Lovely staff with a real passion for the hotel and what they do. Great location, the park behind is beautiful and highly recommend a climb to the top of the tower at sunset for stunning views. Dinner was superb. Fresh, exciting food crafted with skill and care, and stunning value when the guest discount was applied. Overall a cracking place to stay, with lovely touches like the "sip me" decanter in the room on arrrival and real, fresh coffee for the morning.

The bed was very comfortable! The room is fine but the tub is hard to use (get in and out), the sink is tiny and there is draft coming in through the windows. The staff is very pleasant and helpful! The hotel bar was also very pleasant.

The room was not clean or throughly cleaned daily.
