Larkspur Landing Extended Stay Suites Campbell

Executive suite was spacious. King bed was comfortable. Bathroom was good. Kitchen was basic but clean.

A/C is living room had no bedroom outlet. We travel with a small fan that helped as did opening a window since night was cool. Otherwise too stuffy. Furnishings are date and cloth items are dusty, esp curtains. Light fixtures are old with inconvenient switches. Kitchen could use a toaster.

The picture look nice but this hotel is very dated and in a sketchy neighborhood. The staff was nice but was unable to help. The pillows smell like BO. Was advertised as free breakfast but there was no breakfast-probably shut down by health department. I had to leave this hotel after 1 night (I had booked it for 4). I paid through Expedia in advance (over $1400) and I was unable to get a refund for the last 3 days after contacting Expedia and the hotel several times. I recommend -do not stay here and never pay for rooms in advance w Expedia.

The location

The dog barking all night and the throw up stains in the hall and least of all no discount on the room even though water was off from 8 -3

TV was intermittant due to loose coax cable. Kitchen had no silverware and no other utensils. Phone did not work. Shower/tub drained very very slow and had about 2 inches of water waiting to drain.

Size of the room was great, location was close to everything we needed, room was clean.

There was no body wash in the room. When I called down to the front desk the worker didn't know where the refills were, but said he would look. When we checked out after 9 the next morning we still had no soap. I mentioned this at checkout and was told that a note had been left for the cleaning people. The front desk should have bars of soap for cases like this. It makes it very difficult to wash without soap so no one in our party of 4 felt clean. We were in a grand suite and the living and dining areas were dark even with all the lights on. More lights needed!
