Manor Hotel

The hotel needs a refurbishment, on the second morning there was no hot water. The bed felt like it was going to collapse and issues with fire alarm do that it went off 3 times between 4am and 6am!

Hotel nice downstairs however the accommodation requires major investment. Poor maintenance and require more staff. Overall staff pleasant but too much expected of them

Over the past 45 years, i have stayed at the Manor perhaps 100 night. I has gone down hill at an alarming rate. In the good old days, the Manor kitchen was the best for miles around. . . .The Bord Chairman of BOAC dined there on a regular basis. Now, forgt it. The room was esxceptionallly small and overcrowded. The bed mattress was thin, a light was hanging down from exposed wire,, duct tape is used to hold locks in door and batteries in tv channel selectors. It took 25 minutes every morning for hot water to reach the room, carpets are bare. Sadly, I will not be staying at the Manor again. And I feel very bad about that.

Don’t stay on the top floor If you are tall as you have to bend down everywhere as it’s in the loft but good hotel overall.

Fine for a one night stay. Was worried after reading some reviews but encountered no issues

Would have rated higher but does not have a gym as claimed on its online profile. I did have to get in very late very night due to work and there was always someone able to let me in.

The bed was comfy, but the room itself needed some tlc, it was a bit of fawlty towers experience. I would not stay there again.

The rooms electrics were not good enough as in sockets lose and the sink had a split in it but it was clean and the bed comfortable. The bar was alright and so the communial areas but the stair carpet needed changing too.The service from the staff was great and you couldn’t expect more from them.

Very comfortable room and friendly and supportive staff.

Room was dirty, bed springs had all gone, toilet didn’t flush, dirty sheets and tv didn’t work. When I informed hotel, they just said thanks for letting them know. I am sure they were aware if the state if the room
