Manor Hotel

Very small room at front overlooking the Main Street, so it was very noisy. Due to the hot weather, we needed the window open. Bed was comfortable and staff were very helpful. Breakfasts were extra. Hotel well situated for visiting Windsor and is near park and ride.

The staff were helpful and friendly. The rooms comfortable and nicely equipped. Quaint location and village.

It is difficult to find. It is separated by a busy road and railway track. The so-called "executive" room was small and in poor repair. The bed and air conditioning was uncomfortable. There were stains on the carpet and water stains in the bathroom which did not have a locking door.

Great location and very friendly staff. Room very small and hot as it was in the roof. The shower was tiny.

Stayed here the night before flying out. After an interminable bus ride from Heathrow Central Bus Station to Slough Rail/Bus Station, then cab to Datchet, it was a very pleasant surprise to be within walking distance from the Thames across from the grounds of Windsor Castle. The hotel's address, Village Green is just that. One of a group of old buildings making up what looks like a village precinct. The hotel is very old, so don't expect new and shiny. The room was small and clean, the common rooms comfortable. It was the staff that shone. Friendly, helpful and efficient, from carrying bags up the steep flight of stairs (no lift) to booking a cab for the next morning, they made our stay very easy and hassle free.

Booked a double room and go two single mattresses pushed together.

The hotel is a nice hotel but it does need some updating. Little things like the curtains not being hung properly and the net curtains needing replacing as a bit old and grey. These little things let it down. The staff are great, really lovely people who try so hard to help you with any issue. Sarah in the bar/restaurant is a great character and will look after all the guests as well as the team of staff, a great benefit to the company. The guys on reception are so efficient and again will do whatever they can to help. The staff make this hotel. We have stayed for 2 years running and can see an improvement on the food, not that there was anything wrong with it but they have certainly upped their game as presented well and good value. All in all a good hotel and we will aim to stay there again next year,

Booked for business trip and was given the upstairs flat. Absolutely baking, despite one of the windows being unable to close - went to locate the heating control to turn the heating down and found a heavily soiled and dilapidated mattress in the cupboard. Directly next to train line - Very noisy when trains started to run at 5am. Went elsewhere for breakfast. Complained via email - as yet, no response. That says it all really. Wouldn't stay there again and would strongly urge others to avoid.

We stayed one night at the Manor (our second visit). Room was fine, clean and good value. The pub and community cafe opposite the hotel are also both worth a visit.

room was colder inside than the outside temperature - there was no hot water from the sink taps... felt like a £25 per night hotel - but price was £80 wont be staying again
