Manor Hotel

Attractive building and common areas in good condition. I paid £80 but now understand I could have got the room for £60 if I had booked direct as the key card cover quoted a room fee of £60! The room was dated and tired but of particular concern was the dirty stained carpet- I put towels down to walk on in bare feet , the terrible noise from the plumbing and the awful shower. Not to be recommended😔

Within easy walking distance of my destination. The hotel was clean, the staff could not have been more helpful. even offered to keep the bar open after the function myself and about half the remaining guests were attending was due to close. Only little niggle was low overhead door lintels and roof intrusions in my room. Despite good signage nearly impossible to avoid dents in the cranium.

For the price paid this hotel was absolutely fine. The rooms are in desperate need of a refresh based on previous reviews and my own experience but the hotel itself is quirky, unique and in a really nice area.

Comfortable, Pleasent

Terrible Room, no hot water, no heating, the one plug socket in the room was badly damaged and not working.

This hotel is in dire need of a decent maintenance man to fix the many little faults that truly let down what has the potential to be the beautiful place you see on their website. Our Executive Room did not have a walk in shower as stated on their website. In saying that the public areas were all lovely and breakfast was very nice apart from Sunday being a buffet and not made to order. Staff were impressive and eager to please.

We have stayed at this hotel several times for anniversaries as it holds a fond memory, but it is in dire need of refurbishment. Even if they hotel redecorates a couple of rooms at a time. The rooms are now at an unacceptably low standard, with crumbling bathrooms, marked walls and carpets and really quite grubby. Our executive room had not been cleaned and the carpet was filthy. The bathroom was covered in very obvious cobwebs. We complained and it was cleaned, but we really should not have to complain. Breakfast has also taken a nosedive. The hot buffet was barely edible.

The room was like a cupboard that had a double bed shoehorned into it, I don't think the bathroom had been cleaned. Not impressed!!

Our first night in England and it was a very nice hotel. Took the nearby train to Winsor Castle.

The Manor Hotel is well positioned and has ample parking. We stayed for two days and enjoyed a fabulous breakfast each morning and all the staff were excellent. We had a small bedroom at the front which we found too small and very noisy, if we were to stay again we would be in a better position to ask for a different room.
