Regalia Hotel & Conference Center

The reviews had us scared, but the hotel overall was not as bad as we were expecting. The room was very large and was able to accommodate all 5 of us comfortably. Although the pool was not at all what we were expecting, and was actually 21+. There were people smoking weed all throughout the hotel & property. And the pool crowd seemed very rowdy, making us feel unsafe. Besides that, if you’re only looking for somewhere to sleep so you can enjoy the rest of what the town has to offer, it’s not a bad option. But if you’re looking for amenities, safety, or convenience- this likely isn’t your place.

The only dining available Monday - Thursday is the Pool Grill area. Friday - Sunday Breakfast is available. Entire Lower Cigar Bar, Dining, Games,and Indoor Pool totally closed. When staff was questioned regarding this, We were told " Lack of Staffing, That it was not cost effective to provide these Amenities, as well as Owner was cheap." Room was not clean. Thick dirt was found on the floor where the bathroom door opened and closed. We stayed on the 2nd floor with walk out to the "garden" which was overgrown with weeds, No outside lights for the night ( Light fixtures were there). Our room had 2 sliding patio doors, One of the patio doors had a complete set of drapes. while the other door had only 1 drape covering only half the door. Employees stayed on the property, several we witnessed in rooms next to ours. The Grill cook from the Pool Grill would walk his dog in the weedy garden area allowing the animal to relieve itself with out cleaning up after his pet. I witnessed this several times (then return to the grill to cook UGH) Flies in this area was an issue.. Too say the least. Our room phone as well as the Corridor Phone were not working, When asked about this we were told a storm had recently come thru and disrupted the phone service. Help was had to get at the Front Desk, Several times I had to ring the Bell 2+ times to get a response. Beware....this place is completely miss Represented in the brochures.

A very nice hotel. Only complaint I have is prior to arrival response .

The advertisement isn’t true, the bar isn’t open, the place is dated but has potential, parking was terrible and a ways away, the outside pool area is nice BUT they let the public in also and it’s crowed and not enough chairs. Hotel hallways smelled like pot, and the Wi-Fi was pretty much nonexistent. The room was very spacious and nice , some employees were not real inviting and some were good.

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK AT REGALIA IF YOU ARE WITH A GROUP! WARNING: DO NOT BOOK AT REGALIA THROUGH A THIRD-PARTY SITE! Our baseball team booked 11 rooms at Regalia months ahead of a tournament in Lake of the Ozarks, and we all booked through Hotels.com. TWO DAYS before check-in, the manager (Amber) decided that our third-party site didn’t charge us enough for the rooms, so she had an employee call all of us and LIE and say that the entire resort was booked for a private event (blaming our third party site for booking the rooms in the first place) and CANCELED our rooms. She didn’t give us the option of paying more each night, she just CANCELED OUR ROOMS TWO DAYS BEFORE ARRIVAL. And Amber never called us back personally to explain or apologize despite our explicit requests that she do so. Horrible customer service. Our team had to scramble and find SEPARATE PLACES TO STAY (not what you want for a last team hurrah at an out-of-state tournament) and we all paid significantly more than we’d planned due to the last minute bookings. Regalia should not be an option for people to book through third-party sites. Dishonest, disappointing, disgusting.

3 night stay.chose room with balcony and beautiful view ADVERTISED. i got a balcony view of cars parked on the grounds yard and part of the building. very disappointed. the outdoor furniture cushions were nasty . no microwave in the rooms. was one microwave down the hall that sat on a little table covered with a black table cloth that had cribs on it and i might add the same cribs on it all three days i was there. the breakfast?? first day there was scrambled eggs and b&g’s with pastries and bagels. 2nd day same thing except no eggs (so we decreased on food ) and started putting food away at 845 am. 3 rd day we didn’t even bother to go down to breakfast. 3 towels in room for 3 days. the bed was comfortable that’s a plus! the parking is wierd. you had to park by the pool and walk to hotel which is quite a ways , especially when it’s raining. the hotel is beautiful and big but gives vibes of run down feel. like it was beautiful in the pictures but once u get there it’s like not in use or upkeep for quite long time. this was first time staying there and unfortunately my last.

I do not recommend.

For a luxury resort the room wasn’t very luxurious. The hotel and room looked amazing and we were impressed by the room but later realized some things that made our stay less enjoyable or convenient. There’s no microwave in the room and only a wine fridge, the water pressure was definitely less than ideal, the tv only had basic cable with no guide anywhere to tell you what channel was what, and we had to hunt down an ice maker that actually worked. I will say the room was quite large and the beds were comfortable though

Everything was closed. On Memorial Day weekend. The pool bar, indoor pool, bar, and restaurant were all closed. Nothing to do on Memorial Day weekend. Granted it was cold so makes sense that the outdoor pool was closed. However their website says they have a bar and restaurant and nothing was open. We booked here so we could hang out at the resort but literally nothing was open.
