OYO Bostons Manor Hotel, Hanwell London

The room was small but adequate for what I needed.

breakfast was a bit cold.

Although the area of London was totally unfamiliar to me, I soon learned how easy it was to get anywhere, with Boston Manor and Hanwell underground stations nearby, and Brentford Railway Station a short easy bus-ride down the road. The hotel room was comfortable, with a great bed, and a nice shower. There was no real noise from any other guests and a good night's sleep was had most nights. Breakfast was included and was generally good, with cereal etc available followed by a choice of hot food.

The TV aerial on the roof needs to be better secured against the wind as it makes a lot of noise on windy days, and is also tugging against the outer wall which I could feel moving/vibrating at times. I also did not appreciate being served an omelette with chillis in on my final day for breakfast, after 3 days of lovely normal omelettes and never having given any indication that having chillis for breakfast would be something I would want!

The Corridors smelt bad, the rooms were old and in desperate need of an update. There was no air conditioning and you cant open the windows. The bad felt shockingly uncomfortable, with pathetically useless pillows. The bathroom was tiny, and felt dirty. All in all I was definitely not impressed at all. However, you get what you pay for and the price was cheap for London.

Seeing old mattresses in the carpark on arrival i wasn't too impressed Also corridors walls needs a repaint and carpets need replacing Also no hair dryer in the room

Good value reasonable breakfast

Extremely thin walls, no good if you have mobility issues as you would go upstairs downstairs upstairs downstairs and then find your room hidden away

Good breakfast, rooms ok , beds a bit hard , hot in the room due to the weather, 15 mins walk to the train station, eating places 15 min walk, free parking

Strong bleach smell in bathroom
