Comfort Inn & Suites Mt. Rushmore

Honestly, the location was good here and the beds were comfortable. My husband and I were a little disappointed. It feels like the whole place needs to be updated very dusty and not that clean. Updated feel when you come in. Wish we would have looked a little bit more and stayed at a place a notch up. We read that it was number one in breakfast and that was s very typical breakfast. Nothing fresh or out of the ordinary. Pretty much from a boxer a can. This place definitely has potential to be out of the park, but it is definitely not there.

Continental breakfast needs better egg choices

Beautiful area and lots to see and do. The hotel was comfortable and clean. Close distance to Mount Rushmore.

The front desk was very friendly. The maid service needs improvement. My mirror and floor in the bathroom had small blood drops from previous guests. I requested maid service which they clean but did not vacuum. I found sprinkles on the carpet from the previous guests. The parking was terrible.

Our 4 night stay was excellent. Our room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Breakfast was OK, usually eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, bagels, English muffins, cold cereals, waffles, etc. The hotel is within a short walk (less than 5 minutes) to several restaurants, shopping and the 1880 train depot. Very safe walk, very well lit. Mt Rushmore was less than a 10 minute drive. The Comfort Inn was the perfect location for exploring several of the attractions in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

This is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Everyone on staff was considerate, welcoming, knowledgable, and helpful. This is my third time staying at the Comfort Inn in Keystone. My two boys loved it as well. The pool is beautiful, and we looked forward to breakfast every day. Parker, John, June, Julie, and so many others there made our stay special. It’s so close to Mt Rushmore! It’s centrally located for a lot of amazing attractions. We strongly recommend Crazy Horse and The Reptile Gardens.

This Comfort Inn was our favorite in South Dakota. The entry decor, coffee and water bar, wrap around staircase, included breakfast, laundry, pool, and hot tub was very convenient and appreciated. Our room was both lovely and comfortable.

Staff was extremely courteous. Breakfast was not to my liking at all. Rooms are out dated. No USB ports. Bath tub leaked the entire time we were there. Great location to attractions!!
