Premier Hotel Lybid

I found the room to be small also I would of liked a kettle to make tea and coffee saying that it was good enough for purpose . the staff were excellent .

Nice hotel .. near to the train station .. easy to find . comfortable..

Once upon a time this was an exquisite hotel! Even now, you are still reminded of its grandeur, however it has lost some of its sparkle. Our room looked tired and worn down, as did the bathroom and even the carpet in the hallways. We did however have an enjoyable 2-night stay here. It’s located a walkable distance to some of the major attractions in Kiev plus the main station where the Chernobyl tours leave from (our reason for staying here).

Had 5 nights here and overall was very pleased with our stay. our room 1416 was a little small and dated but clean. (requires new carpet and a refresh of paint but I understand this process is in place and we just got one that hadn't yet been completed). Staff were all brilliant from reception to Lobby, bar and housekeeping. A nice touch that was unexpected was a bottle of bubbly and a cake in our room as it was my 61st birthday. The location of the hotel is fine with most sites in walking distance but reception will arrange for taxis if required. Prices in the bar are very reasonable and the cakes and pastries are very good. Overall we are happy to reccomend Premier Hotel Lybid for a stay in Kiev

I stayed at this hotel 2 times. I stayed at the cheapest room (classic room). I really loved the view from the 17th floor actually :) :) Rooms are not the best in terms of newness, everything is a bit worn out but you are provided very clean sheets, towels, etc. There is also complimentary water. I was not very satisfied with the cleanliness of the bathroom but considering that I was staying one night to catch up another flight, it was not such a big deal. The location is also cool, if you need to use the main train station, this hotel is a good option. Mehdi at the reception was very polite and helpful during the check in, I would like to thank him again. There is also a cloakroom, where you can leave your luggage safely after check out. Overall, I was happy to stay at this hotel and if I ever come to Kiev again, I can stay here.

Very nice place. Clean and tidy. A bit worn out in some places. The breakfast buffet was okay, but I found alot of the things cold when I arrived around 10am. Used room service for dinner and all up happy with the service and food. The only problem I had, was trying to explain I needed early breakfast due to my tour to Chernobyl. Couldn't explain it so they understood due to language barrier. So I left without any breakfast. Some of the staff speak very poorly english. The room was very warm and the aircon didn't work, so I had to have the window open at night time, which was a bit noisy due to the traffic.

We was only here for a short city break, and although I didn't spend much time at the hotel the rooms were clean and comfortable, and we didn't experience any problems. The only thing I would say is the complimentary tea, coffee, and water in the rooms could have been a little more and replaced each day. And milk could have been supplied. Overall, a nice stay.

Great location. Wonderful staff. Fair price. The only downside is that there wasn't a coffee machine in the room. No worries though, there are at least 5 coffee stands within a 1/4 mile radius of the hotel.
