Rygerfjord Hotel & Hostel

Cleanliness was very good. Room was nice and warm with radiators you could control. Great location and price. Bed was way too small. Curtains were tiny and thin and you had bright light shining into the room at night and the walls were very thin too so lots of noise.

The staff was actively performing construction on the boat they put us in. We were woken up before 8am by the sound of loud drilling and banging. We tried to make the most of it, went and got breakfast, and came back to try and nap later in the day (when we were more tired and could try to drown out the construction noise). We slept for about 20 minutes before the construction set off the fire alarm. This hotel should NOT be making customers pay for rooms in a boat with this invasive level of construction. It was impossible to get any rest here.

Very cool experience

This is a great place to stay! It’s clean, friendly and the food was unexpectedly top notch! The breakfast offerings were fresh and plenty. It’s best to pre-purchase as the price goes up the day of should you wait. I had dinner there and it was delicious! The chief came out and delivered the meal to me directly which gave me an opportunity to chat with him. This was one of the best meals of my trip!

Special place to get accomodated. Amazing view and area very close to the city center and royal palace. The room was simple but got everything one needs for a few nights. Feels so wonderful like in a big swinging crib at night. Slept soo well.

Stayed in Captain’s suite for a night - fabulous! Great view of the city. Walking distance to Gamla Stan. Good value for the money. Highly recommended

Nice hotel with amazing environment and scenery!

I decided to go for something different. Accommodation was 1/3 of the price of an average hotel room in Stockholm. I paid approximately £8 per night extra to get a sea view, which I think was really worth it, great view of the Old Town. Bed was comfy, room and all common areas clean. I was dubious about the shared toilet/shower room but they were again absolutely fine. Nice area, nice walk to the Old Town and one road back/above the hotel was a vibrant bar/shopping/restaurant street popular with young workers and students. Would happily stay here again , which is always my marker of a good stay. Stockholm ❤️

Very terrible place to stay. Just run away from this place if you don’t want to sleep with bugs. Everyday i was killing spiders, flies, and other bugs i even don’t know their names. Of course, sleep time they bite me as well. Very dirty rooms, bath and toilets. You don’t even stay at the main place. They send you other small ships to sleep. There are spider webs everywhere. I contacted with hotels .com to cancel my booking, pay only one night and get refund for other nights to leave the this joke property. But hotel did not allow this.

Reception friendly an helpful. Room small, bed soft but very comfortable. Breakfast good.
