Crowne Plaza Hotel Qingdao by IHG

I have stayed here for the past 15 years. Good hotel. Service and food good. Require room renovations.

had a good service... the food ordered for room service can definitely be warmer. Surrounding area is pretty much at the heart of the city so if you are looking for "quiet" place, this is not for you. Staff speaks english so communication isn't much of a problem. Rooms need somewhat(or major) facelift since its been there over a decade. If for the business matters, I can see myself being there again.

I got one of the old rooms. I am sure once they update the hotel it will be much better.

Hotel is nice with good location, room facility is ok. But I smell smoke on the corridor even though we chose nonsmoking floor. Service staffs are good although they are not much fluent in English. Concierge staffs need to trim to speak English too. Overall is ok!

The less attractive Crown Plaza! Good hotel staff, but the facility is way behind current rank, should not be considered Crown Plaza.

The stay was fine and the staff were friendly but unfortunately I found a sewing needle on the floor of the room by stepping on it. The room was otherwise in good condition and the staff were helpful after finding out that I had the incident. I am sure no one meant to leave a needle on the floor and staff offer medical supplies and antiseptic followed by fruit plates.

good location for all activity and Jasco Japanese supermarket and mall is right next of hetel and very convenient for anything you need. there is good pool and sauna facility and you could have very good refreshing time at the start of the day and the end of the day. only problem is reception desk and the number of stuff is too small against this size of hotel ,so likely take longer time for check in and check out.

The location of this hotel is great, close by supermarkets and stores. My room on Club floor is spacious but need renovation. I so happened stayed at this hotel during National holiday and the hotel was filled with tourists,which is a bit too busy for business traveller like myself. They do not change bath slippers on daily basic. The conditions and standard of this hotel fall short of other Crown Plaza perhaps of its "age". I won't say that I will not be back but I surely would think twice before I book again.

I have stayed multiple time at this hotel for Business. I particularly like the location. It is walking distance from a lot of shopping as well as the Marina. There is also a New York Bar/pub a block away with decent live music every night. Nice place for a drink. The staff is good. The room was very nice and comfortable. I don't suggest eating at the Italian restaurant on site. The service is slow and the food just average. But then again what shall one expect from an Italian Restaurant in China? The breakfast buffet on the other hand is good.
