Capri

Smack on the area’s major highway, this place qualifies as a rundown motel, and yet it charged $800 per night (after taxes) on weekdays for a 220ft2 room, with a noisy air conditioner and paper thin walls, built in the 1960s and probably not redone since then. We had booked two nights and realised our mistake on checking in, but the Greek female manager refused to let us leave early. The office bathroom had a prominent no smoking sign but reeked of cigarettes, presumably from the groundskeeper / handyman chain smoker. There is nowhere nearby to walk, so you’re stuck if you don’t have a car. The parking area has grass growing throughout its cracked surface and behind the motel was the kind of seedy, unkempt space a mugging or drug deal might occur. Included breakfast was edible but with no variation. I don’t think the restaurant gets much business as one guest complained no one was around when he tried to check in the previous evening. Another decried her $2000 per night (!) suite overlooking the back lot as it had a non-functioning light and no water to drink.

The restaurant and bar staff was absolutely amazing. Friendly, sweet kind and just exceeded my expectations. Everything else not so much. Front desk was snotty rude and arrogant. The beds near the pool were torn, dirty and disgusting. There was garbage everywhere. Bees bugs, and fleas in the hotel room. I probably would never come back here. And it’s a shame because the concept is really cool if it was executed properly.

The music was so loud until late, 2am. Banging in the rooms, ants in the bathroom and a stopped up sink. I spoke to the front desk repeatedly, she was kind, but it continued through the night. I have been to Capri and many resorts that felt rejuvenating. After this one I left feeling like I need a vacation.

stayed in the room that made water noise all night due to their plumbing issue. Mattress is unfortunate and old, we couldn’t sleep all night. Staff reduced to engage the manager or provide any refund. Don’t waste your money.

Nice property

I did enjoy staying in this hotel and I felt like home. My only concern was that the A/C was not working well,They should upgrade it!

The property was noisy at all hours of the night. Beds were extremely uncomfortable and the staff were not nice and helpful. I don't recommend staying here.

Not as advertised. At check in we were told there was a private event at the pool and it would cost us 750$ if we wanted to sit poolside. They agreed to let us out of our 1 night stay and Expedia refunded our purchase. Subsequently they went ahead and billed us separately. Now need to dispute at our Cc.front desk staff was was not helpful.

We had a wonderful two night stay at the Capri. It was close to all Hampton area attractions. The room was nice and served it’s purpose. The pool was beautiful but only open till 8pm. Would have been great to go for a night time swim especially since the pool was lit up. The front desk staff was great and attentive. We would come back!
