Muthu Glasgow River Hotel

This was a cheap room for the night, it definitely is a get what u pay for. The mattress was springy and uncomfortable, the room and bathroom dated and in need of a refurb. The other guests that were blasting music until the early hours are the clientele so not a stat we will be rushing back to have a again. The pool area is in dire need of a refurb and deep clean also!

the property is very tired looking and dated but improvements are in place and public areas and rooms are being updated, it's ok for a short visit but don't think I will stay again due to; windows not fitting correctly in room so could hear the wind whistling through all night, new wooden floor in room was slippery and could be dangerous for any one not steady on their feet, telephone in room not working, tv was disconnected obviously overlooked by housekeeping, open wardrobe and hangers really dusty, food was ok, ordered room service and the risotto was stodge, seemed to be precooked and reheated, ate in the bar on night 2 and ordered a burger which was rather tasty and appeared to be freshly cooked. on a good note, the staff were friendly and very helpful and were most apologetic for the card machines being out of service but they shouldn't be apologising for a poorly run hotel

Amazing value for money at £43 for the night in a standard double on a flexible tariff. The bed wasn't the most luxurious but was perfectly comfortable. The swimming pool was a decent size and I had the sauna to myself. We added breakfast on at £8 per person, which was a mistake. It was less than basic, no fresh fruit or yoghurt and the cheapest quality of bread and coffee etc. Overall a good stay, ideally located for visiting Auchentoshan Distillery and a good base to head on to Loch Lomond.

Always enjoy my stays at Erskine Bridge Hotel. Seemed slightly understaffed and room very warm but everything else was perfect.

Great service

Nice, family friendly place and the staff couldn't be nicer, more than willing to help and accommodate. This was our 3rd stay as we come to this area a lot. Looking forward to our next visit.
