Hotel Mead Resorts & Conventions Center

The hotel was great! The check in process was quick and easy. The food at The Whitney was great. Wonderful service!

We visited the bar in the hotel, expecting a band to be playing as advertised. It however was not. The bar was packed due to the packers game and pool tournament. The people in the pool tournament were rude and acted entitled like we couldn't sit anywhere.

It was quiet, and the pool looked nice

The room was very dirty, whirlpool was not cleaned, about 2inches of dust on TV and TV stand, dirt and hair strands in windows sill, paint chips off back of bathroom door and smelled like laquar thinner paint.

Very convenient location on a cold night.

It just needs a little love. The grout in the shower for one and some of the paint and wall paper needed some help. That said the rooms were grand and well appointed.

If you told me I was the first human to step on this property in 15 years, I’d believe that. The hotel is a step back in time. Room was poorly maintained and dirty. Door to bathroom didn’t open because it hit the toilet (with a ring from stagnant water). 2 of the 3 shower products were empty. Common areas aren’t bad, just dated. Hotel management needs to focus on renovating a dozen or two rooms and do a good job with those. Then continue the cycle. I have no idea how this place has a 4 star rating. Room 170.
