van te voren een bericht gestuurd dat we met hond kwamen en als antwoord gekregen dat dit 20 pond kosten. ter plekken was dit ineens 30 pond.

Peaceful location. Characterful.

Be careful. We booked a superior king bed room and asked for a quiet room location. I was a little suspicious that it was a standard room but went with it. It wasn't until I checked the website photographs that I realised they had put us in a twin room miles down the end of a corridor. Too late as we had paid but I mentioned my concern to the reception staff as feedback as we left. They said it was Booking.com's fault as they use different terms for the rooms and they would never downgrade a guest. I know it was a twin room as they'd pushed two single beds together and the room looked nothing like the deluxe king room (superior in booking.com). There is only standard and deluxe on their own website and we didn't choose a standard king on booking.com, we chose superior king. I was not happy. Food not great either. Expensive and not to a good standard. Steak request was medium rare and came medium - a simple ask really.

Pretty much everything Location quiet and beautiful Hotel very comfortable with character and most of the staff very friendly Breakfast was nice The room was lovely and spacious looking on to nice view Seeing the Deer was a bonus and lots of wildlife birds and Red Squirrels to see also Parking right outside of hotel

Dinner menu food very expensive for the amount of food and limited menu available and no Roast Sunday Evening

Das Hotel ist wunderschön in einem eigenen kleinen Park gelegen. Die Innenausstattung ist ein Traum. So viele herrliche alte Möbel, ein Treppenaufgang, wie ich ihn zu vorher nie gesehen habe. Sehr sehr zuvorkommende Mitarbeiter. Sehr dog friendly
