Mercure North Melbourne

My bed was comfortable and clean. Reception staff were friendly although barely available at the desk.....even when checking in there was myself and another person waiting for some time before help came along......where was a buzzer or doorbell??? Staff in the restaurant were very slow and inattentive and preferred spending time on their phone. The pizza I had was terrible - soggy in the middle and extremely dry on the outside with the toppings tasteless. Breakfast was very ordinary!

The accommodation was very ordinary - my room the air conditioner was not working, the hand basin drained extremely slow. The hallway carpet was bare in some spots and quite rippled from use over the years. Windows were visibly cracked but taped over along the hallway.

Queen room was very comfortable, bed extra comfy. King bed not so comfy Location was great for where I needed to be Breakfast was amazing, great choices of food Night meal was cooked beautifully

Didn’t like king bed, too, was too saggy
