Clean pool and located off highway

Room was spotless! Despite being fully booked, the staff were attentive and kind. April was especially helpful with a unique situation; she was a life saver!

The staff were so very accommodating and helpful for my stay. This will be my new stop while visiting and doing business in Ft. Wayne.

The rooms, and bathroom were clean. The breakfast and the staff were kind and courteous.

I had to leave i should have stayed an extra day.

Friendly staff. Carpet needed cleaning, one daughter had black feet, the others socks turned black. Need breakfast hours in rooms and more tables and chairs for breakfast

We had trouble checking in even with advanced reservations. It was 5pm and no rooms were ready for check in. Ther was a good selection of breakfast items, but some items were cold and some overcooked.

The hotel was clean, comfortable and the people working at the front desk the next morning for check out were really nice.

I think our color (black), intimidated the night clerk, because she called the police. They asked her if she was OK and if we were doing anything. She told them that we weren't doing anything at the moment. I guess she needed them to come and check on her but we hadn't done anything. I'm a Minister, and my family and I are pretty calm people. We just sat at the pool and the kids splashed around and were swimming. We had to change rooms because the fridge wasn't working and there was water dripping from it. The clerk had us bring all of our things to the front desk just to take everything back up to the 3rd floor, a couple of doors down from our original room. In that room, the phone didn't work and the fridge only had one shelf in it. I went downstairs again to inform the clerk but I didn't want to move again so she was to give me points toward my membership.

As a former frequent traveler, I always used to love staying at Holiday Inn’s. They were always nice, had a great breakfast spread, and the shower was to die for. Now? I’ll go somewhere else. This particular hotel needs to get some staff. They had one person working the front desk doing the job of about 4 people. This is not ok. I booked two rooms, and one of them was still dirty. I had requested that the rooms be close together, but the closest they could get us was about 10 rooms apart. The only good thing was that they were on the same level, so I’ll give them a plus one there. Upon inspection of the second room (that took probably 20 minutes to get because of the one person at the front desk being overworked) the toilet continuously ran, the shower spit out dirt from the faucet, and overall it reeked of marijuana in the halls. I’m from Michigan, so the smell doesn’t bother me however it’s not something I expected or wanted to smell in a state where marijuana isn’t legal. On a positive note, the pool was very nice. Even had some chairs built in so you could be in the water without swimming. My son had a blast. However in order to get into the pool area you had to have the front desk staff let you in…the other positive was breakfast. Holiday Inn is at least consistent in their breakfast spread. If you want a clean bed to sleep in and a good pool, it is okay if you have the patience of a saint. I however do not, so I will not be staying here again.
