"Decent but could be better."

The room was a bit dated. The door was difficult to open and close. The materials was old and the shower only shower didnt work. It was too hot. The shower in the bath area was better but there was no cover so it splashed a bit.

It's clearly a popular venue for weddings and other celebrations, and overall very attractive. We did have to endure 90 minutes of kids rampaging up and down the corridor past our room (104) --an unsupervised gang from one wedding gathering. Otherwise, aside from being overpriced, in our opinion, at $200/room, it was a comfortable stay and we enjoyed the dining options and food.

Just one night. All good. Hotel has Ukraine people staying so lots of children around! Located outside town. Handy location for Shannon or Lahinch.

It was fine - probably v upmarket in its day could do with a few upgrades ie radiators in bathroom v old some damp in the reception area high up

The pool was perfect for kids. The food in the restaurant was over priced for average to poor food. Charged for four knickerbocker glories and got four jelly and ice-creams. Very disappointed kids. Hotel is more of a three star. The owners were very nice and welcoming.
