Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kansas City Airport

It was a dated hotel. Needs new paint and carpets. I have stayed in nicer $60 hotels. Prepaid through Hotel App. The hotel asked for credit card for extras, which is normal. 5 days later charged me $5. For what, I don’t know. If you are in KC, avoid this hotel.

We ended up leaving early in the morning because of how uncomfortable I felt.

Alot of the room and hotel broken. Security latch missing from door. Emergency exit bars do not engage. Looks like renovation underway. Room smelled.

I would not recommend

the side doors didn’t even have a lock on them, and the place is pretty run down. The staff was kind. The “breakfast” was nothing really. I ate cereal out of a cup (there were no bowls) and had to drink it (there was no silverware). I felt a little scared staying here but not the WORST. If I HAD to stay here again I could, but I wouldn’t ever choose it again. Nothing horrible happened, just felt gross and run down.

Outdated but remodeling is in motion. I don't expect continental breakfast to be much, although a toaster would have be nice.

Facility smelled, assistance at front desk was poor.

The property was okay. no mini fridge in the room but ice is available. no iron in the room had to checkout one at the front desk. Staff was very responsive. The key card system needs work though. For the price I would stay again.

I came in from Oregon and needed a place close by. I was recommended this hotel. I couldn’t get in early unless I paid $35 extra. Which woulda brought the price to $100. I refused of course but then I get told I can’t even stay in the lobby till check in. Mind u there is nothing around but a restaurant that I had to walk to cuz I didn’t have a car. So anyways I got my room there is no light that works. I had to open the curtain and the one light that worked flickered. The bathroom stunk like pee and the shower curtain had water mildew on it. I was tired and over it and didn’t wanna deal with them at all anymore.

It is a well kept property, I think that breakfast could be improved. The room was comfortable and clean.
