Waters Edge

We just returned from a trip this week. We wanted to find a cozy place to relax, and the Water Edge Hotel served the purpose fantastically! The hotel was nice and quiet while conveniently having all the restaurants close by. The walk around the hotel was scenic. The view from the deck was amazing. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset on the deck with a warm fireplace. It's beautiful to wake up to birds singing and breakfast at your door. The staff were very warm and accommodating, especially manager Steven. We had a great stay and plan to go back again soon.

Amazing rooms with stunning views, a patio with fire heaters that overlooks San Francisco, incredible service. Snacks and beverages at Happy Hour, home made cookies in the evening, and breakfast brought to your room. This was our second overnight stay here, and once again, was the treat for the year. It's pricey, but worth every penny.

Friendly staff, perfect location and clean rooms.

We have family in the area, but prefer to stay at the Waters Edge because there's more room, better food, and the Internet is faster. We have probably stayed here six or seven times in the last few years and absolutely love the area. Great restaurants nearby and just a few hundred feet from the ferry to San Francisco. They do an in room, continental breakfast, which is very good, and also have complementary wine and cheese in the afternoon. Coffee and tea are out in the hallways and are always kept well stocked and fresh. Beds are very comfortable, staff is outstanding, and we love the location.

Breakfast was terrible. Served in the room. Gave us only half of the food ordered. Toast and no butter😳. Bagel with no cream cheese and salmon😳. Oatmeal got gold (the only hot item). While we waited for them to make it right…

The staff was great, very friendly. Great location. Nice wine and cheese spread in the afternoon.

The size of the room for the amount they charged was rather small. I think the rates were a bit high for what you got.

Martin and the Water’s Edge Hotel team were excellent and made our Baby Moon stay amazing. Martin in particular took care of us All Day! From the amazing welcome, to explaining the parking, to sharing the wonderful wine and cheeses available, and MOST importantly giving us warm blankets and wonderful hospitality in the cold evening while we played Scrabble on the fire pit patio :) Thank you Martin!

Breakfast was first rate and prompt Staff was very friendly and helpful
