The Sebel Noosa

I commented to start that our stay was excellent. We had a great holiday. The Sebel is in an ideal location and our apartment was spacious and clean.

However considering the rate we paid we would not want to stay in that particular apartment again. The apartment is clearly showing its age and needs to be refurbished. The light fittings are tarnished and table lamps are broken. The bathroom vanity and doors are water damaged.

The location and the standard of accommodation are exceptional and the staff particularly at the front reception area were welcoming and always helpful.

Gates I thought I would lose fingers Spa wasn’t working Condensation on floor ,but i figured out to turn fan higher and it dried the floor

We booked and received a " Hastings St facing apartment ". We got a great rate for Hastings St. The room was large and reasonably modern. Some wear was noted on furniture. We liked the space provided and the balcony. Down the lift and out the front gates to bars and restaurants. The grounds are very well presented, though the pool area was not our favourite resort pool, just a bit pokey. Staff were very friendly and happy to help when approached. Our car remained in the car park for most of our week stay. We appreciated free secure parking and we mainly walked everywhere. We did encounter noise coming up from BangBang restaurant, it did not really bother us, though on the Saturday night one man was obviously inebriated and was mouthing off loudly. We will definitely return soon.

staff were helpful, pool was sparkling clean, our 1 bedroom apartment was clean, comfortable spacious & well equipped. Ducted air conditioning worked well. The location on Hastings street makes the place an easy walk to the the beach, national park, river, restaurants, shops etc. Plenty of space in the car park, car can be parked close to lift for moving luggage etc.

1. The wi-fi did not work, for entire duration of our 5 night stay, despite complaining about it every day. Staff said they were trying to fix it, but I don't think there was any proper effort to get it working. The place is advertised as having free wi-fi included - but not so. I had things I needed to do on a lap top and this proved to be a major irritation . 2. We had a river view room, but it was really over looking a fairly busy road, and the view of the river was blocked by trees. A pool or garden view would be the better option.

Check out staff were unhelpful in the pouring rain . Asked to delay 10mins till rain stopped and they were very unfriendly
