Lone Star Inn - San Benito Harlingen

Comfortable beds, friendly staff. Bedding was clean, and the bathroom was clean.

The lighting to the entrance. There is no lighting to turn in to the property coming south. Its a very dark turn in, entrance or whatever you want to call it. If your not familiar you will miss it.

Not a walkable area since there are no sidewalks even to walk the 1/2 block to buy coffee. Staff was very nice to let me stay until 1PM on departure date.

I will get straight to the point on this review the staff was very accommodating in providing us another room when we reported a plumbing issue water shooting out of the back side of the shower head and wall damage that was present, as well as tile damage on the floor which was a safety hazard for cutting feet but promptly put us to another room. The property pool had no skimmer to use had mounds of debris at the bottom and floating on top of the water so we could not swim. At night crickets are either in the soffits or addicts and they're very loud so all you hear is crickets chirping in your room. Other than that was a room and a place to sleep or try to sleep

The supoosed free wifi internet service is horrible & should definitely be looked at. I tried to watch Netflix multiple times & it would buffer constantly.

I really enjoyed my stay here, the lady at the counter which I think may be the owner was VERY pleasant and amicable. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The pool was small but very pretty and clean. Next time I do business in this area I’m most certainly staying here again. Thank you to the staff Martin R.
