"Perfect"

It does not get any better than this hotel. The only other thing you need to know is it’s 25 minutes from Cologne by train or car depending on traffic.

"grand hotel with beautiful views"

this is a 5 star hotel with a friendly staff. The rooms are wonderful and unique and we happened to be there on a night when someone was celebrating a birthday with a 10 minute display of fireworks in the evening. Very fun!!

"Beautiful castle"

Beautiful castle, well maintained. One could expect a bit more of action from the receptionists who, while explaining how to get to the room, should have come along with us to avoid we get lost, and why not maybe offer to carry the luggage to the rooms. well basic expectations for a luxury service. Area is quite loud so you won't sleep with open windows. The restaurant in the hotel is supposed to be one of the best of Germany. It was not up to expectations neither. It was generally not very crowed.

And I have stayed in everything from the Kempinsky to the Hilton. If there is any way to improve a Hotel other than a cash machine that gives money free without putting a card in, I don't know it.

"Excellent"

Be prepared with dress clothes if you book this hotel! My boyfriend and I felt out of place wearing casual clothes. The hotel staff were very friendly and speak very good English. The hotel is luxurious and not over priced. Not too far from the bus station or the u-bahn but bear in mind that it is 30-40 minutes from downtown Köln.
