Deerhurst Resort

A wonderful space to enjoy the Ultimate Elvis Competition. Comfortable rooms, efficient shuttle service, great sound for the concerts, beautiful surroundings and the meal at Compass and wine selection was excellent. We will be back.

The area is beautiful , the views amazing. Food is very good but no room service. I think they have to recalculate the resort price value equation.

Disappointing experience. Rooms were not prepared ready for occupancy, multiple requests to service room deficiency, poor grounds appearance, and overpriced food and drinks. Additional resort fees were not appropriate or easily recognizeable when booking

The hotel is located in a gem of a location. Value not great in shoulder season, while the price to stay includes amenities, there are not many you can use mid October. The main hotel is in need of a refresh, the anti buildings are not really part of Deerhurst proper and do not come with daily housekeeping and are not accessible. Nice hotel but I was disappointed

Deerhurst has always been our family’s go-to resort in Huntsville, but our most recent stay was shockingly disappointing. The 2-bedroom Lakeview suite we stayed in was filthy, outdated, and in terrible condition — absolutely not worth over $500 a night. The furniture was stained and dirty, and the room looked completely neglected. Even the pool area was poorly maintained, with showers out of service and only small hand towels provided. When we brought this up to staff, we were told management would follow up after checkout — no one ever did. I also sent an email afterward and still haven’t received a response. This lack of accountability shows just how poor the management has become, and it’s clear how badly the standards have declined. It’s heartbreaking to see Deerhurst, once known for its quality and service, going so far downhill. We’ve always recommended this resort to others, but after this experience, we sadly can’t anymore.

A great promo to visit Sandhill Nursery for the weekend. The property was very scenic and nice for a morning walk. Our room did match the pictures, but it would be nice if all the rooms were updated soon to have new TV, appliances and couches. They’re getting a little old in the surrounding buildings.

Beautiful location. Dated Bayshore building with zero amenities unless willing to drive to main Pavilion. Noisy AC/heater. Stained carpet Lukewarm tap water to drink. Overpriced food at Compass with small portions.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean suites. Well equipped with cooking equipment, if needed. Great dining experience.

Very dood view from the room. Location is away from the park but is manageable. Overall, it still very worth to stay. I will make the same choice next time
