Extra fee at check in for CC use. AC not on in room and it was 85 degrees. Crusty substances and hair in the bed. No pillow cases on pillows. Broken sidewalks and paving tripping hazards, and rotting wood railings. ‘Housekeeping’ non existent. Only good thing was front desk was pleasant and he gave me my money back without argument when we had to checkout without staying after we clearly were not ever going to get clean bedding. Another woman was requesting a refund and leaving at the same time. So it wasn’t just us. I’ve made do in some rough places…here,we just couldn’t even stay.

Good location. Quiet.

Bathroom vents were very dirty. Triggered my allergies. Furniture was dusty. Bed linens stained.

There was nothing about this property that we liked. It smelled musty, the sheets and pillowcases had hair on them, the shower was so dirty that we didn’t even take showers, plus the towels were stained and had hair on them. We covered the pillows with our own shirts so we wouldn’t have to lay our heads on the pillowcases.

Overall not a bad hotel for a quick trip in to see a UIUC football game. Hotel is a bit rundown & a little off the beaten track. Beds were comfortable & the staff helpful. Fairly good experience & reasonably priced.

All we needed was a bed……. Clean, quite & safe Breakfast was not great, no coffee!!

Didn't like that we had a person smoking weed and drinking on a picnic table outside our room yelling and screaming all night. Had to call front desk 3 times and tell them to call the police. Rooms are so outdated and dirty. Musty smell all over property. Front desk gentleman were awesome though

This hotel was not great. I couldn’t sleep well at all because my room smelled strongly of mold, and people were smoking weed and cigarettes next door. There was a cigarette burn on the chair in my room, so clearly at some point recently a previous guest had been smoking in my room too. On the second night there was a live cockroach crawling in the shower. The toilet didn’t flush but just filled with water and slowly drained without taking the TP with it. The toilet was also loose so it wobbled when you sat on it. For some reason I had a handicap accessible shower and the grooves on the ramp were full of dirt or something that hadn’t been vacuumed up. The bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows smelled like BO and there was a spot of blood on the blanket. If I had any other option I would have left. I called earlier in the day and the guy said I could very likely check in a little early but when I showed up at 2:30 (for a 3:00 check in) he said my room wasn’t ready and I would have to wait. In addition my room was way around the back in a pretty sketchy seeming parking lot so it was a little scary at night to walk to and from my car. I didn’t use it but the pool area looked really clean and beautiful, and as far as I could tell the room didn’t have bed bugs but that’s not really saying much.

A great value for the room, with nice staff and a really nice swimming pool. First floor room had a sliding door to walk out of—perfect for dogs. Some carpet updates and extra housekeeping staff could help this place stay in tip-top shape.

Ahmed went above and beyond to accommodate my last minute request. Made the stay that much better. Super nice guy who will do what he can to make your stay great. Highly recommend!
