The location is very nice. Its only 20 minutes from the Big Oak Flats gate into the park which is very convenient considering its another hour almost into Yosemite Village. At night after long days of hiking and driving that close location really makes a difference! But you pay up big for that convenience. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Well appointed with everything you need including a big fridge. The hotel has an outdoor pool and hot tub..so nice after long hiking days. There is an adjacent hotel for breakfast which is okay. Greeting hostess was friendly and helpful.

Price point is high, quite high. No towels at the pool.

This was a very comfortable stay in an excellent location to the park but it was expensive to be within 20 minutes of the Oak flats gate. The hotel has an outdoor pool and hot tub...great after long hikes. Split bathroom good for multiple guests. Good shower and comfortable beds. Room was clean and well appointed with a large fridge and other comfoets. Plenty of plugs, lighting, etc.

Price was high but we took the hit because it is almost an hour into the Yosemite Village once you pass through the gate so the extra time to further out and less expensive hotels is a real drag, especially at night after a long day of hiking. No towels at the pool.

Very clean and new also pretty close to north entrance of Yosemite park about 20mins drive…Perfect spot to stay with kids because it hase open pool and hot tub everything was perfect highly recommend it if you want to wake up in yosemite

Wonderful hotel! Friendly staff, great location, and excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.

Unfortunately, there is a wastewater treatment facility nearby, and from time to time an unpleasant smell can be noticed depending on the wind direction. We also found that the floors could be cleaned more thoroughly. While they appear clean, walking barefoot leaves your feet dirty quite quickly. Regular mopping with soapy water would improve this. Aside from these small issues, our stay was enjoyable, and the positives outweighed the negatives.

Lady in the office was so sweet and very informative. We wouldn't have known about Hetch Hetchey if she hadn't told us about it. Housekeeper Joseph was so sweet and very helpful.

The only thing that would have made our stay better was if the lodge offered breakfast since it was a pricey place to stay.
