Close to the Yosemite National Park

I had to wait until the hot tub was ready to use. Only accommodates 4 people.

We stayed two nights and liked the location of the property.

The first night we stayed the hot tub was out of order. The first morning on wake up we discovered the Kuerig coffee maker was out of order. Because the office did not open until 8:00 a.m. and we were leaving for Yosemite Park at 6:30 a.m. we had to resort to stopping at the nearest coffee shop for coffee. Called the office from the park at midday thinking that they could simply replace the coffee maker while we were out hiking all day and getting back late. Their response was that the maintenance man was already gone for the day and could get coffee at the office until 10:00 p.m. But that didn’t solve the broken coffee maker problem for the next morning either as we were leaving again at 6:30 to beat the rush to the park. So once again had to stop at the local coffee shop for morning coffee. The shower was fine except that hot water seemed to be reversed. Maybe they do things differently in California but typically the blue indicator is cold water and red indicator is hot water. In this room blue was hot and red was cold. It was surprising that this wasn’t addressed yet. I’m coming. And the bathroom vanity sink faucet fell off. Hopefully, when the maintenance man gets back he can address those issues. This long letter could have been avoided if the crabby guy at the front desk was just a little more pleasant.

Location

The room was ok, but the bed is not comfortable. There is no restaurant, except a place next door and you only see staff at check-in which is a strict time period. The room was overpriced & gets away with it because of location.

The bed was very uncomfortable , the toilet bowel was not sufficiently cleaned, the toilet seat was loose, and the safe did not work. We reported these when we left.

Room seemed pretty clean. Restaurant was good, but a bit pricey. Location was as close to Yosemite as you are going to get, unless you camp, or stay at an outrageously expensive Lodge.

A bit more accoutrements in the check-in lobby would have been nice (ie. chairs, brochures, park information, coffee, tea, water, etc.).

Nice fresh clean room.

The booking indicated a room with sofa and dining table. The room I got did not have those items. It instead had just one soft sitting chair and desk chair and no ding table. I don't think the check-in person looked to confirm my exact room just assigned the king bed room that was available. Not a really big deal but in the future I will be displaying my exact booking.com info at the desk to assure assigned room matches.
